Backup（备份） and sync（同步） your bookmarks and open tabs across computers and browsers. Xmarks is also available for Firefox, Safari and IE.
Xmarks is the #1 bookmarking add-on（书签附加组件）. Xmarks synchronizes（同步） across multiple computers, and across web browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Internet Explorer. After you install the add-on, click on the Xmarks icon to start backing up and synchronizing your bookmarks.

INSTALLATION PERMISSIONS: When installing Xmarks for Chrome, the extension will ask for several different permissions（权限）. Each of the permission items（项目） is required for an optional（可选择的） sync feature; bookmarks for bookmark sync, “browsing history（浏览历史）” for open tab sync, and “website data（网站数据）” for password sync（密码同步）. Any of these features can be disabled in the Xmarks settings if you’d prefer to keep that information local.
Note: Xmarks for Chrome does not support the Chromium-based “Flock” browser. DO NOT install on Flock, as the Flock browser does not currently support standard Chrome bookmarks and bookmark folders（书签文件夹） and instead uses a tag-based（基于标签的） system called “Favorites”.

3.Profiles
Use sync profiles to keep sensitive（敏感的） bookmarks where they belong. Create（创建） and manage sync profiles at my.xmarks.com. Then choose a profile here to control what Xmarks syncs to and from this computer.
1）Create and manage sync profiles: “My.Xmarks.com”（点击）；
Current Profile: …“Change Profile”.

1）Connection Security（连接安全）
Encryption（加密）: No?Encryption，Login Only（仅登录） or?Encrypt All（全部加密）.
2）Manual Repair（手动修复）
Repair is the preferred method to fix the local bookmark database when errors occur（出现错误）：“Repair Bookmarks”（点击）.
3）Manual Upload（手动上传）
Uploading your bookmarks or passwords send this browser’s data to our servers. This will replace（替换） any data you currently have saved on our servers.
4）Manual Download（手动下载）
Downloading your bookmarks or passwords will overwrite（覆写） the data currently on this computer with the saved data you have on our servers.
5）Logging
（勾选）Enable logging（启用日志）
To see log output, go to chrome://extensions/ and click the link to inspect the background.html view for Xmarks. (Note: if you don’t see the option to inspect anything, you’ll need to click the “Developer mode（开发者模式）” link in the top right first.) Our log data is printed to the console（控制台）, which can be toggled using the buttons at the bottom of the inspector. Any Chrome errors will be printed in red.
